Talgil Console Software - The Homepage

The Main Menu is grouped into groups, each containing the relevant subjects.

• Monitor - Deals with monitoring the current activities.
• Plan - Deals with all the planning that users may have to do.
• Analyze - deals with analyzing accumulated historical information
• Configure - deals with all the information related to the system setup.

Depending on the configuration of the various targets, there may be some differences in the list of subjects included in the menu.

The Homepage contains the menu of all the subjects covered by CONSOLE; it is the place from which the user can reach all of those subjects.

Adding a customized Homepage

To create a new customized homepage - right-click on the 'home' icon.

A new screen will appear with the option to change the view layout (number of columns), name and items allowed to be added to the view.

To add an item (Alarms, I/O, Irrigation Status) - Click and drag the item to the desired column.

Items in each column can be stacked.

To rename the dashboard - Click on the Dashboard name.

After saving the changes, the default view will be changed to the newly created dashboard view.

To change or modify the dashboard - right-click on the home icon.

Note - The user is still able to arrange the view from the dashboard view itself.

The Toolbar appears in all perspectives of all the subjects, giving the user the ability to navigate forward and backward, select subjects from the pull-down menus, select other targets, execute a Freeze command, or go to the Alarm & Log perspective.

The Pull down menus have the same names as the Main Menu groups: Monitor, Plan, Analyze and Config.

The Pull down menus actually ful-fill the same function as the Main Menu and that is giving access to the various subjects, so since the Toolbar appears in all the perspectives, the included Pull down menus serve as shortcuts to all the subjects.

The Tools menu allows user accessing the Console Preferences & Other Configuration.

The Status bar – contains information about the current version of the CONSOLE, the currently logged-in user and his role in the system, the selected target, its ID and its software version, an Object Tracker and some memory usage information that is mostly for use by the programmers.
