Diavaso – Mobile Suite for SensusRF Meter Reading

Diavaso is a modular suite of mobile applications designed for remote meter reading, configuration, and maintenance using Android smartphones or tablets. It supports both walk-by/drive-by (AMR) and small-scale fixed network (AMR+) applications.

The suite consists of five apps that can be used individually or together, depending on your operational needs:

All Diavaso apps communicate via the SIRT (Sensus Interface Radio Tool) transceiver and are fully compatible with all SensusRF meters.

Diavaso is ideal for meter installation, remote reading, diagnostics, and configuration of meters and repeaters. The Collection Mobile app includes a web-based server interface for managing workflows, generating reports, and integrating with billing systems.

Basic Principles

This can be used with any Sensus RF Meter.

Diavaso Essential provides a simple starting point for remote meter data collection. It allows you to detect, locate, activate, and read any meter within range of a compatible radio transceiver. View all nearby SensusRF meters and repeaters directly in the app, along with their readout status, radio connectivity, and event notifications.

In addition to supporting the multifunctional SIRT (Sensus Interface Radio Tool), Diavaso Essential is also compatible with Sensus USB receivers for reading wM-Bus meters. Meters with NFC interfaces can also be accessed directly through the app.

Data Logger App allows the collection of in-depth data from Sensus water meters.

The read out data in the Data Logger can be transmitted to the DIAVASO Collection Mobile Server where they can then be analyzed.

Diavaso Collection Mobile is a client-server–based solution designed to simplify and centralise the entire meter readout process. It consists of two core components:

• CM Server – A server-based platform for managing meter reading operations, assigning tasks, configuring DIAVASO app settings, generating reports, and exchanging data with billing systems.
  
• Collection Mobile App – An Android-based mobile application used for collecting meter data in the field and synchronising it with the CM Server.
  

The solution also includes a web portal that enables route planning, task allocation, and real-time monitoring of field activities. Together, these tools offer a robust, scalable solution for efficient meter data collection and workflow management.

Automatic route read for drive-by meter reading or automated meter reading in small-scale fixed networks. In drive-by ‘Mobile Mode’, the meter data from the route read can be synchronized with the server automatically or manually. The route list can be sent from the server to the app and assigned a route to a meter reader. In fixed network ‘Stationary Mode’, it can be programmed to provide a scheduled meter reading.

Licensing and Registration

Software registration using the license key is required in order to access the full functionality of the applications. License keys are unique to each Android device as they are generated according to the device serial ID.

Security and Data Protection

All sensitive data stored and transmitted using Diavaso are encrypted and protected against unauthorized access. There are no plain data sets stored on the tablet that may be accessible. Please refer to the manuals of each Diavaso application for further details.
